We are seeking a Senior / Distinguished Enterprise Architect (m/f/d) to drive technical excellence and strategic vision across our Operations Software portfolio transforming it to the AI‑native operation system. In this leadership role, you will lead the architecture and technical roadmap of critical business‑impacting products, leading multiple high‑performing teams and establishing standards that elevate quality and innovation. You’ll serve as the trusted technical authority, bridging business strategy with engineering execution, while shaping the future direction of our software solutions. Your ability to see the big picture, mentor talent, and champion best practices will be critical to our success in an increasingly sophisticated technology landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable, resilient software architectures that support enterprise‑grade operational excellence and drive business impact
Own the technical roadmap for assigned product lines, ensuring alignment with business strategy and proactive identification of emerging risks and opportunities
Establish and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across engineering teams, driving consistency and quality across the portfolio
Drive, Lead, mentor and develop teams of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within your organization
Drive critical technical decisions at the enterprise level, evaluating trade‑offs between performance, scalability, cost, and time‑to‑market while handling technical debt strategically
Collaborate with product leadership, customer success teams, and business collaborators across the whole organization to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and long‑term strategies
Champion innovation initiatives and emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability and potential value to our product roadmap and competitive positioning
Lead multi‑functional initiatives that span multiple teams or business units, ensuring seamless integration and alignment across the organization
Represent technical leadership both internally and externally, including customer engagements, technical forums, and industry events

You ideally bring the following qualifications and experiences:

Strong hands‑on software engineering and architecture experience as a senior architect or principal engineer, successfully translating complex business problems into elegant technical solutions
Validated expertise in designing and implementing highly scalable, distributed systems with deep understanding of cloud‑native architecture, microservices, and modern DevOps practices
Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of building, mentoring, and scaling multiple high‑performing teams of architects in a sophisticated, matrix organization
Expert‑level knowledge of modern technology stacks relevant to operations software, including but not limited to: AI technologies, cloud & edge platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Anthropic, ...), databases and enterprise integration
Proven track record to influence at the executive level, drive consensus across competing interests, and communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
Experience shipping production software at scale, with demonstrated ownership of systems supporting millions of users or critical business‑critical operations
Demonstrated expertise in industrial operations, production systems, and software platforms supporting manufacturing, automation, and operational excellence.
