Senior Domain Engineering Specialist

Enthusiastic, collaborative Security Success Engineer at Veeam who helps customers secure data and AI workflows within the Data Platform. You will partner with CSEs and AEs to drive security outcomes, guide readiness, and model risk discussions with CISO/CIO stakeholders. You will monitor risk signals and DRMM readiness to optimize posture and identify expansion opportunities. This role combines hands-on design and strategic advisory to accelerate secure adoption at scale.

• Engage customers on security-related products, architectures, and risk topics across the VDP
• Run readiness checks and lead data modeling to validate solution design
• Monitor attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, telemetry signals, and DRMM scoring; report trends
• Validate designs to de-risk adoption and accelerate time to value
• Identify expansion opportunities and review consumption trends
• Engage CISO/CIO stakeholders for risk and opportunity discussions; synthesize inputs from QBRs
• Support AEs on security- and AI-driven expansion motions; influence roadmap priorities

• 5+ years of experience in engineering architecture for cybersecurity-related products
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP or equivalent
• Expertise in data security and governance (DSPM/DLP) and familiarity with AI/ML architectures
• Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders on risk and modernization roadmaps
• Hands-on experience with solution design, POCs, telemetry monitoring, and maturity modeling
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• VMCE certification (can be completed after joining)
