About The Role
This high‑impact leadership position carries full P&L ownership, end‑to‑end responsibility, and a prominent role across local and regional leadership teams. The Head of eCommerce & Pharma will define and execute the digital commerce and pharma growth strategy in Germany, scale partnerships such as Amazon, expand into new eCommerce channels, and drive profitable growth across the eCommerce and Pharma businesses.
About The Team / Department
The role reports to the German Commercial Leadership community and works closely with cross‑functional teams in Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and regional eCommerce stakeholders. It offers exposure to both local and regional leadership and the opportunity to build or further develop a high‑performing team.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the eCommerce & Pharma growth strategy in Germany, with full accountability for revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Lead the Amazon and eRetail agenda, including customer development, joint business plans, and performance optimisation.
- Build and scale new eCommerce partnerships, including marketplaces, pure players, distributors, and key digital accounts.
- Manage full P&L responsibility across both channels, including forecasting, pricing, trade investment, and margin optimisation.
- Develop and execute annual sales plans covering distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotional strategy.
- Lead customer negotiations with key accounts, buyers, and category managers, including annual agreements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category Management to ensure best‑in‑class execution.
- Act as a key interface to local and regional leadership, aligning on strategy, priorities, and performance.
- Leverage data, analytics, and eCommerce KPIs (e.g. conversion, traffic, share of search, availability) to drive insights and growth.
Experience You’ll Bring
- University degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven commercial experience in eCommerce / online sales, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Amazon Vendor or Seller Central, marketplaces, or eRetail environments.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
- Experience working in a matrix and international environments.
- Deep understanding of the German retail and eCommerce landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical capability, able to translate data into clear actions.
- Fluent in German and English.

You need to be eligible to work in Germany. This role is not eligible for relocation. Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.
