The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer: Grid Connection you are responsible for the development and implementation of project plans for the construction and modernisation of substations and grid connections.

• Planning, management and implementation of projects in the field of substations and grid connections.
• Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams and external partners.
• Ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Analysis of technical challenges and development of efficient solutions.
• Monitoring of deadlines, costs and progress, including reporting to stakeholders.
• Participation in tenders, contracts and supplier coordination.
• Evaluation of project results and contribution to continuous process improvement.

Your Background

• Completed studies in electrical engineering and several years of experience in (partial) project management of grid connection, infrastructure or energy projects with CAPEX responsibility.
• Sound knowledge of scheduling, interface and risk management, as well as the management of suppliers and construction sites.
• Excellent project management skills with clear decision-making even in complex project situations, pronounced negotiation skills, reliability, and a high focus on results and quality.
• Fluent German (at least C1 level) and very good English proficiency (at least B2 level).
• Willingness to occasionally travel to sites.
