Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Role
As a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer, you will take ownership of our electronic hardware development, from concept and design to production and validation. You will work closely with our Embedded Systems Engineer to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.

✓ Lead the design and development of electronic hardware systems, including PCB layouts, power supply architectures, and wiring harnesses for missiles and launchers
✓ Select and integrate components such as processors, MCUs, and System-on-Modules (SoMs)
✓ Manage the end-to-end hardware development process, incl. coordination with external manufacturing partners
✓ Bring up, test, and validate hardware in the lab environment
✓ Ensure compliance with EMC standards and support certification processes

• ✓ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• ✓ Proven experience in modern PCB design and electronic hardware development
• ✓ Strong knowledge of ARM processors, microcontrollers, and real-time embedded computing platforms
• ✓ Familiarity with common communication interfaces (e.g. ethernet, serial interfaces)
• ✓ Understanding of EMC principles and compliance processes is a plus
• ✓ Structured, independent working style and strong problem-solving skills
• ✓ Citizenship of an EU or NATO member state (excluding the United States)
• ✓ Fluent in English and German
