Senior Electronic System Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will shape space-grade electronic systems for European launcher programs. You join a cross-functional team to develop integrated electrical, electronic, software and mechanical solutions, ensuring system coherence from requirements to delivery. You will lead technical analyses, risk assessments and design reviews, coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal departments. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at a growing aerospace supplier with a strong focus on MBSE and collaboration across disciplines.

• Analyze system requirements from customers, stakeholders, regulations and standards
• Develop an integrated system solution for space applications (electrical, electronic, software, mechanical)
• Define interfaces and derive system design
• Provide technical leadership in quotations, feasibility studies and system performance analyses
• Identify and manage system costs with focus on design-to-cost, OTD, OTC, OTQ
• Create system specifications and concepts for system design
• Oversee development plans at system level and perform technical risk assessments
• Manage development partners and technical subcontractors
• Coordinate development activities across departments and lead project team
• Continuously coordinate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing, project management and stakeholders
• Monitor budgets, schedules and resources and coordinate cross-departmental technical documentation
• Coordinate core project team and conduct design reviews (CDR, TRR, IRR)

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• At least 6 years of experience in design of electronic/electrical systems in cryogenic products or aerospace
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams
• Several years of experience in technical subcontractor management and MBSE methods (SysML Capella) and system engineering standards (ECSS, INCOSE)
• Good organizational and solution-oriented agile working skills
• Sound judgement of technical, economic and scheduling issues
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Very good written and spoken English
• Desirable: knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, SAP
