Senior Embedded Developer (Edge AI) - Munich Area – Up to €100,000 (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

• Adapt and deploy embedded software solutions across a range of hardware autonomous platforms
• Develop and integrate on-device AI capabilities and embedded agent functionality, optimising performance for resource-constrained computing environments
• Lead hardware initialisation, system bring-up, and integrate multiple sensors
• Support deployments in customer environments, gathering operational feedback and translating findings into software enhancements and system improvements
• Extend and maintain the edge computing platform to support reliable operation across different autonomous system architectures
• Evaluate hardware capabilities and limitations to determine appropriate integration strategies and ensure compatibility with diverse deployment requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or similar
• 5+ years in embedded systems, particularly the adaptation and deployment of these systems onto autonomous hardware systems
• 3+ years experience using Rust, as well as 5+ years experience using Python
• Additional experience requires in the areas of: Low-Power, Edge computing, Autonomous Systems, and Multi-Sensor Data
• Bonus: Aerospace and Defense domain experience
