Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – Amantys

Amantys who are a specialist in the design and manufacture of power electronics for high power applications such as power transmission and renewable energy generation are looking for this role.

Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to be part of a small team responsible for the development, verification and maintenance of a range of power electronics products. The role includes working with colleagues in Germany, to develop grid‑tied modular multi‑level converters (MMC). These are multi‑year projects. You will be comfortable working in VHDL and/or Verilog on AMD/Xilinx FPGAs and writing software for embedded processors. You will be expected to use your experience to architect and develop efficient power electronics control algorithms both in hardware and software.
