Senior Engineer - Digital Signal Processing for Optical Networks

In this role you will lead innovative DSP research for optical networks, developing and testing algorithms to boost modem performance in high-speed systems. You will apply AI to accelerate innovation and power efficiency, collaborating with European and Chinese teams to advance coherent and direct-detect optics. This position offers engagement with the research ecosystem and opportunities to present at leading conferences.

• PhD in Electrical / Communications Engineering with a focus on signal processing
• at least 3 years of post-PhD experience in optical networking
• deep experience in optical communication systems, DSP, information theory, coding, and ML
• proficiency in Python and C; experience with LLMs
• professional working proficiency in English
