Über den Bereich Archiving Technology entwickelt und betreibt technologische Lösungen für die Archivierung innerhalb der Deutschen Bank. Unser Team verbindet Cloud-Architektur, moderne Softwareentwicklung sowie künstliche Intelligenz (KI) und Machine Learning, um sichere, skalierbare und zukunftsfähige Lösungen für geschäftliche und regulatorische Anforderungen zu entwickeln.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Sie übernehmen Verantwortung für die Lösungsarchitektur moderner, cloudbasierter Archivierungslösungen und begleiten diese von der technischen Konzeption über die Entwicklung bis zum zuverlässigen Betrieb.
• Sie entwerfen skalierbare, sichere und zuverlässige Architekturen auf Google Cloud und verbinden dabei .NET, C#, Microservices, REST APIs, containerbasierte Technologien sowie Lösungen aus den Bereichen KI und Machine Learning.
• Sie gestalten den Einsatz von KI und Machine Learning innerhalb unserer Lösungen, bewerten technische Ansätze und stellen gemeinsam mit Entwicklung und DevOps deren sichere, zuverlässige und nachhaltige Integration in die Gesamtarchitektur und den Betrieb sicher.
• Sie treffen wesentliche Architekturentscheidungen, bewerten technische Lösungsalternativen und berücksichtigen dabei Geschäftsprozesse, Informationssicherheit sowie regulatorische und technische Anforderungen.
• Sie arbeiten eng mit Softwareentwicklung, Architektur, DevOps und Produktverantwortlichen zusammen, entwickeln gemeinsam Lösungen für komplexe technische Herausforderungen und optimieren kontinuierlich Architektur, Entwicklungs- und Betriebsprozesse.

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Tiefgehende Erfahrung in der Architektur und Umsetzung komplexer, hochskalierbarer, sicherer und geschäftskritischer Cloud-Lösungen.
• Tiefgehende, praxiserprobte Expertise in Google Cloud, .NET und C# sowie umfassende Architektur- und Implementierungserfahrung mit Microservices, REST APIs, Docker und Kubernetes.
• Fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit KI und Machine Learning, einschließlich der Integration von KI- und ML-Funktionen in Anwendungen und Cloud-Architekturen.
• Anerkannte Cloud-Architektur‑Zertifizierung, vorzugsweise Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, oder eine vergleichbare Cloud‑Architektur‑Zertifizierung.
• Fundiertes Verständnis von Geschäftsprozessen und regulatorischen Anforderungen sowie die Fähigkeit, diese in tragfähige technische Lösungen zu übersetzen.
• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeit zur technischen Kommunikation und gemeinsamen Lösungsfindung mit Entwicklung, Architektur und DevOps sowie Erfahrung in der kontinuierlichen Optimierung von Cloud‑Lösungen und deren Betriebsmodellen.

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Archiving Technology develops and operates technology solutions for archiving within Deutsche Bank. Our team combines cloud architecture, modern software engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning to build secure, scalable and future‑ready solutions that address business and regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the solution architecture for modern cloud‑based archiving solutions, from technical design and hands‑on development through to reliable production operation.
• Design scalable, secure and resilient architectures on Google Cloud, combining .NET, C#, microservices, REST APIs and container technologies with AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Shape the use of AI and Machine Learning within our solutions, evaluate technical approaches and work closely with engineering and DevOps to integrate them securely, reliably and sustainably into the overall architecture and production environment.
• Drive key architecture decisions and evaluate technical alternatives, considering business processes, information security, regulatory requirements and technical standards.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering, architecture, DevOps and product teams to solve complex technical challenges and continuously optimise architecture, development and operational processes.

Your skills and experiences

• Deep experience in architecting and implementing complex, highly scalable, secure and business‑critical cloud solutions.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise in Google Cloud, .NET and C#, combined with extensive architecture and implementation experience across microservices, REST APIs, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong practical experience in AI and Machine Learning, including the integration of AI and ML capabilities into applications and cloud architectures.
• Recognised cloud architecture certification, preferably Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or a comparable cloud architecture certification.
• Strong understanding of business processes and regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate them into sustainable technical solutions.
• Strong technical communication and collaborative problem‑solving skills across engineering, architecture and DevOps, combined with experience in continuously optimising cloud solutions and their operating models.
