Overview

In this role you will drive grid code compliance for renewable energy generation, supporting integration into power networks. You will work within a technical and certification-focused team to assess, model, simulate, and certify energy systems. You’ll collaborate with manufacturers, developers, and grid operators to ensure adherence to national and international standards. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge renewables projects, with impact across assessment, tooling, and certification activities. You’ll contribute to the energy transition and grow as a recognised expert in grid compliance.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead technical assessments of grid code compliance for renewable energy generation systems
Perform power system modelling and simulations using DIgSILENT PowerFactory and MATLAB
Analyse and evaluate test results for electrical equipment, generation units, and power systems
Prepare technical reports, compliance assessments, and certification documentation
Support development of technical guidelines, innovative tools, and new service offerings
Engage directly with customers, manufacturers, and grid operators throughout project delivery
Contribute to project management activities and business development initiatives
Keep up to date with evolving grid standards, regulations, and industry best practices

Zentrale Anforderungen

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Several years of experience working with electrical generation systems and grid integration
Strong understanding of grid codes, power systems, and regulatory frameworks
Proven experience using: DIgSILENT PowerFactory MATLAB Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent German language skills (the role is conducted in German)
Professional working proficiency in English
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
