(Senior) Engineer, Software IVV Test & Integration, IRIS2

As a Software IVV Test & Integration Engineer, you will lead the integration, verification and validation of MCC/SMO components and 5G-NTN orchestration workflows within the IRIS2 satellite program. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, automation, and acceptance evidence across core telecom environments. You’ll troubleshoot defects, manage risks, and contribute to system acceptance readiness for a secure, EU-wide satellite constellation. This role offers high-impact work at scale in a structured, security-conscious environment.

• Define and execute software integration, verification and validation strategies for MCC/SMO and 5G-NTN orchestration workflows
• Prepare test plans, test cases, automation scripts and acceptance evidence across API, system, interface and end-to-end testing
• Integrate MCC/SMO interfaces with SDN-C, GW Manager, OSS/BSS, RAN and Core components
• Validate ICDs, interface assumptions, functional/non-functional requirements, alarms and logs during campaigns
• Identify integration risks, troubleshoot defects and support defect management
• Coordinate technical clarifications with vendors and support system acceptance readiness
• Generate clear test evidence, integration reports, risk assessments and recommendations for deployment decisions
• Hands-on integration of software components and execution of IVV campaigns
• Experience with API testing and end-to-end workflow validation

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience (desirable for Senior Engineer)
• Strong skills in software integration, verification and validation, test strategy, automation and API testing
• Good understanding of MCC/SMO, 5G-NTN, O-RAN interfaces, RAN/Core integration and orchestration workflows
• Experience validating interfaces and ICDs between MCC, SMO, SDN-C, GW Manager, OSS/BSS, RAN and Core
• Troubleshooting, log analysis, defect reproduction, root-cause analysis and regression testing
• Ability to generate test evidence and acceptance inputs for architecture, procurement and deployment decisions
• Eligibility for a SECRET security clearance and willingness for onsite work
• Experience with vendor coordination and cross-disciplinary collaboration
