Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineering Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Advising clients on strategic and operational issues related to electrical and electronic systems, including E/E architectures, complex systems, and AI-based solutions.
• Leading consulting and implementation projects, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
• Developing and implementing effective solutions, including creating roadmaps and solution concepts, and overseeing their implementation with clients.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on technological and organizational challenges, and translating these into actionable value.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the EDAG portfolio in the industrial market.
• Contributing to the company's growth and development through your consulting mindset, structuring skills, and confident communication style, driving long-term customer relationships and business expansion.

Requirements

• You hold a degree in engineering, economics, computer science, or a related field, or have equivalent qualifications.
• You have 5-8 years of relevant experience in the industrial or automotive sector, with a focus on electrical and electronic systems or software-driven products, including at least 3 years of experience in consulting.
• You have a strong background in business development, project management, and consulting, with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, driving initiatives, and taking responsibility for delivering results.
• You are a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in high-pressure environments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• You are fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
