This role analyzes business processes and functional requirements to develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements, developing and implementing solutions, and ensuring the ERP system is integrated with other IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the ERP system (Prophet21 and Microsoft Dynamics) to meet the organization's needs.
• Understand current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and technical specifications, and translate them into ERP configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Lead and manage ERP-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement customizations, enhancements, and integrations with other business applications to meet requirements.
• Provide ongoing support to ERP users by troubleshooting issues and resolving system-related problems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with ERP systems (e.g., Prophet21, Microsoft Dynamics, others) in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Proven experience in planning and leading ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Prophet21, Microsoft Dynamics).
• In-depth knowledge of ERP architecture and integration methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, database management, and programming languages relevant to ERP systems (including APIs and integrations).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
