Senior European Finance Manager (m/f)

Our client is a rapidly growing international company operating in the battery-powered equipment and power tools industry. With an established presence across Europe, North America and Asia, the Group continues to expand its European operations and is strengthening its regional Finance organisation.

To support this development, we are looking for a Senior European Finance Manager who will become one of the key Finance leaders for Europe.

Based in Weiterstadt, near Frankfurt , you will work closely with the European management team and the Group Asian headquarters to support a growing network of commercial subsidiaries together with the European warehouse operations. Your role will be to ensure consistent financial governance across the region while helping the business continue its rapid growth.

You will oversee the financial management of several European entities, coordinating accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance and statutory requirements across multiple countries. You will also contribute to improving inventory control, warehouse finance processes and working capital performance while supporting the deployment and optimisation of SAP across the European organisation.

Beyond the technical aspects of the role, you will actively participate in strengthening financial processes, harmonising ways of working between countries and reinforcing internal controls. You will work closely with local Finance teams, business leaders and headquarters to improve reporting quality, identify operational and financial risks, and provide reliable financial information to support decision-making.

You will also play an important role in developing the European Finance organisation by recruiting, coaching and supporting Finance managers across the region while promoting a collaborative and performance‑oriented culture.

We are looking for a Finance professional with approximately 12 to 16 years of experience , gained within an international group operating through commercial subsidiaries, sales organisations or distribution businesses. You have already managed Finance activities across several European countries and are comfortable working in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

Experience in industrial products, technical equipment, consumer goods, distribution or power tools would be appreciated, although we remain open to candidates coming from comparable international environments.

Strong knowledge of SAP, multi‑country accounting, tax compliance, budgeting and financial governance will be important for success in the role.

Above all, we are looking for an ambitious, hands‑on and business‑oriented Finance leader with the potential to grow within an international organisation. Someone who enjoys building, improving and supporting a business in full expansion rather than simply maintaining existing processes.

Fluent English is essential. German would be an advantage, as would any additional European language.
