Senior Experienced Hire, Rapid Value & Cash

In this role, you drive rapid value through hands-on transformation at client sites within BCG’s Transform practice, focusing on cash, cost, and operational improvements. You may assume interim leadership positions (CxO-1/Cxo-2) to own outcomes and deliver on-site results. You will diagnose issues, build pragmatic action plans, and lead high-impact workstreams across finance, operations, and organization. The role blends strategy and execution to unlock short-cycle value for private equity-backed and mid-cap clients, supported by AI-enabled capabilities and a global expert network.

• Lead high-impact workstreams and programs in turnaround, restructuring, and value creation from diagnosis to implementation
• Own end-to-end results including P&L impact, cash delivery, and operational performance in interim leadership roles
• Translate analyses into pragmatic action plans and drive on-site execution to deliver measurable business impact
• Execute across levers (cost, cash, operations, organization) with emphasis on speed and impact
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape decisions, align teams, and navigate complex transformation settings
• Embed with client organizations and mobilize BCG’s ecosystem (experts, tools, AI capabilities) to deliver end-to-end impact
• Build trusted client relationships, identify additional value opportunities, and support business development
• Coach and develop team members and help build sustainable capabilities within client organizations
• Contribute to evolution of RVC methodologies, playbooks, and best practices

• 12–20+ years of experience in consulting, private equity value creation, restructuring, or senior industry roles with a track record in transformation and performance improvement
• Experience in interim or operational leadership roles with accountability; ability to own outcomes and drive results
• Deep functional/industry expertise (operations, finance, treasury, PMO, people, or organizational transformation)
• Proven experience delivering turnarounds, restructuring programs, or large-scale value creation initiatives
• Strong execution mindset from analysis to action; pragmatic, results-oriented approach
• Credibility to influence senior stakeholders in fast-paced environments
• Experience in PE-backed businesses, mid-cap or industrial environments; interim leadership is a plus
• Commercial acumen and client development ability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with sound judgment
• Leadership and coaching skills for team development
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
