Senior Experienced, Rapid Value and Cash

As a Senior Operator in RVC by BCG, you will lead hands-on transformation work across finance, operations, and other functions to unlock rapid value. You’ll operate at the strategy-execution seam, sometimes stepping into interim leadership roles to deliver on-site results. You’ll drive fast, measurable improvements through diagnostic work, action planning, and end-to-end implementation, partnering with senior executives to shape decisions and mobilize BCG’s ecosystem. This role supports fast-paced transformation with a clear emphasis on cash, cost, and performance improvements.

• Lead high-impact turnaround, restructuring, and value-creation programs from diagnosis through implementation
• Possess end-to-end ownership including P&L, cash delivery, and operations improvements in interim leadership roles
• Translate analyses into pragmatic action plans and drive on-site execution for rapid business impact
• Execute across value levers (cost, cash, operations, organization) with speed and tangible outcomes
• Partner with C-suite and functional leaders to align on decisions and navigate complex transformation settings
• Embed within client organizations and mobilize BCG’s ecosystem to deliver end-to-end impact
• Build and nurture trusted client relationships and identify additional value creation opportunities
• Coach and develop client teams and contribute to sustainable capability building and playbooks
• Contribute to evolution of RVC methodologies, playbooks, and best practices

• 12–20+ years of experience in consulting, private equity value creation, restructuring, or senior industry roles with a track record in transformation
• Hands-on accountability in interim or operational leadership roles is a plus
• Deep functional/industry expertise (e.g., operations, finance, treasury, PMO, people, or organizational transformation)
• Proven experience delivering turnarounds, restructuring programs, or large-scale value creation with measurable impact
• Strong execution mindset from analysis to action with pragmatic, results-oriented approach
• Credibility to influence senior stakeholders in fast-paced settings
• Experience in private equity-backed businesses, mid-cap companies, or industrial environments; interim leadership is a plus
• Commercial acumen and relationship-building skills with client development potential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with sound judgment
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with commitment to capability building
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
