Senior Expert, Accounting & Reporting

Responsibilities

• Preparation, review and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensuring the quality of balance sheets, income statements (P&L), sub-ledgers, accruals and valuation matters
• Reconciling financial statements from German GAAP (HGB) to IFRS
• Assessing complex accounting issues and documenting adjustments
• Preparation and validation of reporting packages
• Ensuring consistency between local financial statements and international reporting requirements
• Preparation of cash flow statements and analysis of cash flow and working capital developments
• Consolidation activities and accounting for company transactions
• Preparation of audit documentation for external auditors
• Further development of accounting and reporting processes, identifying standardization, automation and AI potential
• Participation in ERP, reporting and finance transformation projects

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or finance, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience applying HGB and IFRS
• Experience preparing reporting packages in an international corporate environment
• Proficient in preparing and analyzing cash flow statements
• Strong understanding of balance sheet, income statement (P&L) and sub-ledgers
• Proficient in using ERP systems and reporting tools
• Very good German and English language skills
