Deutsche Post Beteiligungen Holding GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG. The company focuses on investment management within the DHL Group. Its key responsibilities include managing and monitoring investments, coordinating corporate law matters, and ensuring efficient dividend planning and distribution within the Group structure.
The company serves as the central holding company for selected investments and supports the optimization of capital structures as well as the implementation of group-wide financial and governance requirements. In addition, it is responsible for planning, managing, and executing dividend payments, analyzing the performance of its investments, and overseeing corporate transactions and restructuring measures.
Through its activities, Deutsche Post Beteiligungen Holding GmbH makes a significant contribution to the value-oriented management of the investment portfolio and to supporting the financial and strategic goals of the DHL Group.
Your Responsibilities:
Project management for a project focused on process optimization and ensuring compliance with governance guidelines
Handling PMO tasks, including defining milestones, responsibilities, and project structures
Assessing, analyzing, and documenting the current state of the company’s existing processes
Design and development of the target model (target processes) for the company
Preparation of process documentation for the target processes, as well as oversight and implementation of the defined measures
Identification and assessment of risks throughout the processes, as well as mapping and documentation of the relevant ICS controls
Conducting the annual applicability tests of the ICS controls in accordance with ICS Corporate Governance guidelines
Accounting assessment of complex business transactions in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as preparation of corresponding accounting notes in the role of Business Partner for the Shared Service Center (SSC)
Supporting the company’s annual audits and serving as the point of contact for the auditors
Analyzing and optimizing the company’s cost center structure, developing an approval matrix concept, and implementing the defined approval matrix
Ensuring the implementation of the Tax ARM Matrix in accordance with the Tax Department’s guidelines
Supporting the S/4HANA rollout as part of the Shape+ project in your role as a Business Partner for the Shared Service Center (SSC)
Your Profile:
A university degree with a focus on economics/finance or a comparable qualification
Several years of relevant professional experience in finance/controlling, accounting, and/or financial reporting
Knowledge of the DHL Group’s organizational structure and business units
Strong IT skills and experience using reporting and dashboard solutions
Extensive user knowledge of SAP/CREST and Excel
Knowledge of change management is desirable
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
