The Compensation and Share Programs department acts as a Group-wide center of expertise for compensation matters and operates in alignment with the business strategy and the Groups overarching compensation principles. Its objective is to continuously develop and apply internal compensation processes, provide expert advisory support, and ensure a structured exchange of information in order to deliver high-quality outcomes and excellent service. Senior Expert (m/f/d) 542-10 / AT nltd Level 1 (BesGr A14/A15) Main tasks: Compensation & Benefits Specialist (m/f/d) Management of key Compensation & Benefits (Comp & Ben) processes of the DHL Group, with a focus on executives and on the development of pay bands, the execution of job evaluation processes, and the preparation of analyses related to Comp & Ben topics Annual review and development of pay bands for executives of the DHL Group, applying the global methodology and taking into account country-specific compensation practices Collection and evaluation of compensation market data from international providersAnalysis and assessment of market data by country and gradeDevelopment of pay bands by country and gradeClose coordination with divisional Comp & Ben teamsPreparation of management decision papers Execution of the job evaluation process for executive roles with RCS grades B-F using the Mercer IPE job evaluation methodology Close collaboration with HR Business Partners responsible for Group executives and, where required, direct interaction with management to obtain all information relevant for job evaluationAnalysis and classification of executive positions in accordance with the Mercer methodologyPreparing and conducting training sessions for the grading community, as well as initiating a best-practice exchangeImplementing process and system improvements in the grading workflow tool Contribution to the execution of the annual bonus process for executives Preparation and maintenance of the systemContribution to the preparation of the communication to executivesSupport in the further development of the framework Preparation of Comp & Ben analyses on various topics upon request, including the development of presentations and decision papers for management Contribution to the (further) development, maintenance, and communication of compensation policies and processes for DHL Group (e.g., bonus process, performance management, job architecture, job evaluation, and annual salary adjustment process), particularly with a focus on process optimization Identification, analysis, and assessment of the impact of regulatory changes and new compensation-related topics on the DHL GroupProfessional contribution to the (further) development of Group-wide Comp & Ben policiesEnsuring effective information sharing within the global Comp & Ben community incl. active collaboration on working level Professional Requirements: University degree with a focus on Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance, or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in Comp & Ben within an international corporate environment or a management consultancy Proven experience in project management, ideally within the Comp & Ben area Knowledge of job grading methodologies is an advantage Good understanding of the organizational structures and processes of the DHL Group is an advantage Experience in the structured preparation of complex content for presentations at Executive and Corporate Board level Very good knowledge of Compensation & Benefits systems and tools (e.g. CompConnect, SAP HR GT) Very good command of English, both written and spoken; German skills are an advantage Personal Requirements: Strong analytical skills Ability to quickly understand complex matters, esp. when working with complex data and reports Structured and well-organized working style Very strong communication and presentation skills Confident and professional demeanor at all organizational levels Excellent stakeholder management skills, including in an international context High level of discretion and sense of responsibility Notes for Applicants: Please apply with your complete documents (resume, cover letter, and certificates) online via the application link in the job posting.
