The Global Legal Operations & Innovation (LOI) function drives the transformation of Legal Services by embedding technology, data, and standardized ways of working to improve efficiency, quality, transparency, and scalability of legal service delivery. A key focus area is the development and adoption of common processes, governance routines, and target operating model improvements across Legal Services. This role combines LOI business partnering for the DACH region with Process Excellence responsibilities, ensuring that global standards are implemented effectively in the region and that regional insights are translated into scalable improvements for the wider Legal function. Senior Expert (m/f/d) 71A5-5 / AT nltd Level 1 (BesGr A14/A15) Main tasks: Business Process Quality & Improvement Specialist (m/f/d) Legal Operations & Innovation (LOI) Business Partner for the DACH region with a global contribution to Process Excellence and the Legal Services Target Operating Model (TOM), responsible for implementing global LOI tools, processes and ways of working, while contributing to the development and scaling of standardized processes, documentation, governance structures and continuous improvement practices Implementation of global legal tools, processes and ways of working in the region Cross-divisional coordination of the implementation of global legal tools, processes and ways of working in the DACH regionIdentification, development and implementation of regional solutions to support digital transformation, process improvement and standardized ways of workingContribution to global process excellence initiatives, including the documentation, simplification and standardization of key Legal processesResponsibility for involving employee representatives and social partners in the introduction and further development of global and regional tools, processes and ways of workingDevelopment and implementation of measures to enable regional legal teams and ensure sustainable adoption of tools, processes and standardsCross-divisional collaboration with IT, Finance, Procurement and relevant business partners to successfully implement digital and process solutions Designing and establishing a data-driven and process-driven decision-making approach Development and implementation of solutions to promote the systematic use of dashboards, KPIs, scorecards and reporting within the regionAnalysis of regional trends in workload, risks, efficiency and process performance to derive actionable recommendationsIdentification of improvement measures in process workflows related to the validation of provisions for litigation risks, disputes and coordination with the Groups external auditors Representing the region in global rollouts and contributing to global process frameworks Represent the DACH region in coordinating regional initiatives and global rollouts, as well as in developing global milestones, frameworks and process standardsAct as the bridge between regional needs and the global LOI Process Excellence agenda, ensuring that regional feedback is captured and translated into practical improvementsEarly identification and escalation of adoption, capacity, process, governance or change risksStructured collection, prioritization and evaluation of regional feedback on tools, processes, standards and ways of workingFeed relevant insights back to the Global LOI Team and contribute to the development of common process templates, documentation standards and adoption approaches Active exchange and representation of the region in external legal operations networks, including external benchmarking and best-practice transfer Bringing in external impulses on TOM, digitalization, AI governance, and operating modelsDeriving and implementing improvement initiatives for regional and global roadmaps Conducting training sessions on LOI topics in the region Conduct training and enablement sessions on LOI topics in the region, including process standards, new ways of working, governance routines, dashboards and tool-enabled processesStrengthen peer learning, knowledge transfer and independent collaboration within the regionSupport and guide regional colleagues through the transformation process, especially where new global standards or process changes need to be adoptedContribute to global enablement materials, process documentation, playbooks and practical guidance where regional learnings can be scaled across Legal Professional Qualifications: University degree with a focus on business administration, (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in process optimization, preferably in a legal environment Solid understanding of operating models Knowledge of data analysis and KPI-based reporting Strong process and project management skills Understanding of technical systems and tools Experience collaborating with cross-functional and/or global stakeholders English language skills, German is a plus Personal Qualifications: Analytical and conceptual skills Customer and solution orientation High affinity for digital topics Strong communication and networking skills Confident and professional presence at all levels of the organization Teamwork and collaborative mindset High motivation and enthusiasm for solving complex challenges Notes for Applicants: Please apply with your complete documents (resume, cover letter, and certificates) online via the application link in the job posting.
