Senior Expert People Analytics & Workforce Strategy (f/m/x)

In this role you will shape SMS group’s global approach to strategic workforce planning, People Analytics, and HR Controlling. You combine strategic design with hands-on delivery, building frameworks, governance, and planning methods while driving execution across a matrix, international organization. You’ll translate strategy into practical models and lead cross-functional projects under tight timelines. This is a high-impact opportunity to advance HR transformation at a global scale.

• Translate business strategy into practical models for headcount, FTE, labor cost, skills, capacity, productivity, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Lead projects from concept through implementation, including scope, milestones, risk management, decision-making and delivery
• Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders to enable timely decisions across an international matrix organization
• Develop and implement requirements for workforce planning, reporting, analytics, data governance, and technology solutions
• Prepare management presentations, business cases, recommendations, and decision papers for senior stakeholders
• Ensure effective adoption, continuous improvement, and consistent application of global concepts and processes

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a comparable discipline
• minimum of five years of experience in Strategic Workforce Planning with a proven track record
• strong experience in People Analytics, HR Controlling, workforce planning methodologies, process design, governance, and organizational transformation
• proven project management experience delivering cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines
• strategic thinker with hands-on mentality and ability to move from concept to implementation
• ability to manage and align stakeholders and work with senior managers
• experience in international matrix organization; knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or comparable solutions is advantageous
• fluency in English; German a plus
• willingness to be based in Hilchenbach or Mönchengladbach (hybrid)
