Senior Field Service Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to take on a site lead role at a key customer fab in Reutlingen, within the semiconductor equipment sector.

This is a dual role - you’ll be the primary technical authority on-site, managing day-to-day field operations while staying hands-on with the equipment. If you’ve grown up in the semiconductor equipment world and you’re ready to step into (or continue in) a senior engineering position, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serving as the on-site technical lead and primary escalation point
• Performing preventive maintenance, qualification, and corrective maintenance on thermal/deposition equipment
• Leading and mentoring a small team of field engineers
• Owning uptime KPIs, SLA delivery, and customer reporting
• Coordinating spares, tooling, and scheduled maintenance windows
• Completing installations, upgrades, and equipment relocations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in the semiconductor equipment field service industry
• Experience with vertical diffusion furnaces, LPCVD, ALD, or CVD platforms will also be considered.
• Fluent German and strong English
• Proven ability to lead or manage customers independently
• Engineering degree or technician qualification
• SAP or equivalent service management tool experience
