Senior Finance Manager DACH

In this role you will lead finance operations for the DACH region from Bad Nauheim, coordinating with the Malaysia Shared Services and a global network of Finance Managers. You’ll ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial support while partnering with local management. The position blends regional oversight with involvement in global finance initiatives and the annual cycle. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing in line with IFRS and Group requirements
• Ensure timely statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance with local regulations (VAT, GDPR, ESG)
• Manage relationships with local and Group auditors and collaborate with Finance Shared Services in Malaysia
• Maintain strong internal controls and oversee payroll and treasury operations
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance to monitor cost spend, improve cash flow, and support forecasting and budgeting
• Lead local accounting teams and work with stakeholders; contribute to global projects and ad hoc tasks

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally in a global matrix
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medtech, pharma, life sciences) is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting processes and German regulatory frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• ERP platforms experience and Power BI, plus ability to communicate insights to both finance and non-finance audiences
• High integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, and business-savvy perspective
• Ability to work across cultures and time zones in a global setting
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• Fluency in English and German
• Willingness to travel ~25–30 days/year to Munich or Copenhagen
