Senior Financial Analyst

In this role you will support the accounting function in Munich, driving international projects and partnering with cross-functional teams. You will own month-end close processes, analyze GAAP differences, and help scale automated financial workflows. The position offers collaboration across global accounting teams and opportunities to influence processes and controls. • Take ownership as a team player and show initiative
• Lead or contribute to national and international accounting projects
• Partner with the Amazon group to drive business decisions
• Develop and manage scalable, automated processes
• Coordinate with the global Accounting organization across regions
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing of financial books
• Assess and reconcile GAAP-to-GAAP differences
• Support improvements in accounting processes, workflows, and best practices

• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (US GAAP, IFRS, local GAAP)
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience supporting controls implementation or audits over financial reporting
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis for decisions
• English fluency (speaking, writing, reading)
