Your Responsibilities – What We Expect from You

• the establishment, further development, and optimization of the company’s IT security
• the administration, ongoing maintenance, and monitoring of central and local firewall systems (particularly Cisco and Fortinet) as well as VPN and SIEM systems
• the implementation of measures for network and system hardening
• the early detection and sustainable resolution of vulnerabilities and security risks
• Ensuring a scalable and future-proof security architecture
• Supporting the development of concepts for technical feasibility and the efficient implementation of business and technical requirements

Your Profile - You’ll impress us with

• a completed IT-related apprenticeship or degree, or relevant professional experience as a career changer
• solid experience in the field of IT security and network protocols (including IPv6)
• Extensive practical experience in the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous optimization of firewall systems (Cisco and Fortinet)
• Experience in assessing the risks of security incidents
• Good written and spoken German skills (at least C1 level)
• A structured approach to work, as well as an agile and proactive mindset
• Enjoyment of contributing to the team and collaborating with others
