Senior Flight Test Engineer {PL}

You will own Helsing's flight test programmes from concept to reporting, bridging advanced AI-enabled systems with live military aircraft. You define strategies, lead multi-country campaigns, and collaborate with engineers, test pilots, and armed forces partners to deliver trusted capabilities. • Take overarching accountability for flight test programmes from planning and safety case development to execution and formal reporting
• Design and conduct ground and flight test campaigns, including international ranges and live-fire events
• Author and validate ground procedures and test cards for weapons, sensors, and mission systems
• Lead on-aircraft ground testing to verify integration, safety, and mission readiness
• Collaborate with engineering teams, test pilots, and L-FTE throughout operations, and step in as L-FTE when qualified

• Career in flight testing of fast-jet or advanced military aircraft with hands-on programme experience across the full test lifecycle
• Deep expertise in complex military systems including weapon integration, mission systems, and sensors (Radar, EO/IR, EW)
• Experience planning and delivering multi-stakeholder test campaigns, including international or live-fire environments
• Rigorous approach to flight safety while meeting tight delivery timelines
