Senior Fraud / Forensic Auditor

This leading multinational manufacturing company, with over 50,000 employees worldwide, is looking for an experienced fraud and forensic expert to work as a senior fraud/forensic auditor based in Düsseldorf – covering their international subsidiaries.

The role will focus on leading investigations (of alleged or suspected violations of criminal law and corporate policies) across the group’s operations, writing forensic reports, analyzing data to support investigations, and providing effective recommendations and advice on follow-up and improving the internal controls infrastructure and developing an effective fraud awareness programme.

You will also spend part of your role focusing on undertaking financial and operational audits, assessing financials and working on business risk and process review audits.

Additionally, you may perform occasional data analytics projects.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in a forensic/fraud position. Ideally, the candidate has spent some time working in external audit before transitioning into a forensic fraud team within a major consulting group, or alternatively has experience running or managing fraud investigations in internal audit.

Candidates with a CFE qualification would be preferred but not essential.

English language is required; German language is not needed for this role.
