Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – AI-based Autonomy Hub

Responsibilities

• You are the developer of our entire application ecosystem – from the backend to the cockpit.
• As a (Senior) Full-Stack Software Engineer, you are responsible for the (architecture and) development of the (business-critical) applications that bring our AI to life.
• You are responsible for the entire technical stack, from designing robust backend microservices to developing sophisticated (autonomous) edge applications.
• Your work transforms complex AI technology into a manageable and powerful tool, thus creating the autonomous software application.
• You work across the full stack and ensure the seamless integration of edge device, backend and infrastructure.
• You mentor other engineers on best practices for software design, clean code and system architecture.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent (for the Senior position, ideally a Master’s degree or PhD).
• Excellent programming skills in a modern backend language (e.g., Python, Go) as well as in edge application development (C++).
• Hands‑on experience building distributed systems, developing APIs and working with cloud‑native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Senior level: several years of relevant professional experience and a proven track record of implementing complex technical architectures or providing technical leadership in a fast‑paced technology environment.
• An eye for good design and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences.
• A strong commitment to quality and the motivation to take ownership of the entire application.
• Fluent in German and English.
