- You will join the Client Technology Tribe as part of the newly created Banking Operations team
- The team’s mission is to empower our Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), and Fraud Operations functions by building the tools and workflows they rely on daily. Key responsibilities include architecting and building regulatory monitoring capabilities connected to the Scalable banking platform, enabling effective alert handling and block management, and developing case management solutions that support efficient investigation and resolution
- In this role, you will build world class capabilities on our operations platform as well as client-facing journeys around the team domain
- You will help build and improve the technical foundations needed to operate these systems securely and reliably in a regulated environment
- A big part of this role requires a strong product mindset: you will move fast to ship high-impact features while maintaining a rigorous platform standard required in a regulated banking environment. Instead of choosing between quick one-off fixes or endless over-engineering, you will strike the right balance delivering immediate value while designing the reusable capabilities, extensible workflows, and robust integration patterns that ensure long-term architectural quality
- In Scalable, AI is a core part of how we work and what we build: from internal engineering workflows to support automation and new client-facing capabilities, you will work hands-on with modern AI tooling and help deliver AI-powered features with real impact
- Build and improve high-quality web experiences that allow efficient banking operations for millions of clients across all Scalable product offerings
- Work across the stack on frontend applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, event-driven workflows, and cloud infrastructure
- Partner closely with the Operations department to prioritize new features and measure success of releases
- Contribute to observability, analytics, experimentation where relevant, and operational excellence across support-related systems
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code while treating security, privacy, and reliability as first-class concerns
- Take ownership from idea to production, helping the team ship pragmatic solutions without compromising engineering quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement in architecture, testing, monitoring, and developer experience
- Help shape technical direction, mentor teammates, and raise the engineering bar within the team
