The challenge

Complex problems in energy tech, and your job is to turn them into working systems - then bring AI agents to the entire company. On top of that, you'll build a new customer-facing product from scratch.

Why they're hiring now

Software engineering used to be outsourced. They're now building the in-house team from the ground up: 25 people in tech today, with 10 in-house engineers to hire.

Where does AI come in

They want someone to lead LLM work from prototype to production - internal tooling first, customer-facing after. They also pay for whichever AI coding assistant you prefer. Your choice, no committee. Small thing, but it tells you how they think about tooling.

The expectation

You'd own features end to end with a pod around you, and you'd shape the roadmap with Product rather than receive it.
