Senior General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d)

In this role you will oversee accounting for Norway and Sweden, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings with our external providers. You will work closely with the finance team at headquarters while maintaining independence in Isar Norway and Isar Sweden. You will optimize processes, provide data-driven insights, and support management with accurate financial reporting. This position offers cross-border scope and real impact on the space mission by ensuring compliant and efficient accounting operations.

• Record payments and bank activities with timely reconciliations
• Support cost control and invoice approvals with managers
• Maintain asset records, reconcile balance sheets, and manage intercompany accounts
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports
• Generate monthly and annual financial statements for Sweden and Norway
• Analyze data to identify process improvements and implement optimizations
• Provide data-driven insights to management

• Completed vocational training as a management accountant or a degree with focus on accounting and tax
• Strong accounting knowledge and experience under Norwegian or Swedish GAAP
• Proficient in SAP accounting software
• Analytical and independent work style
• Reliable and detail-oriented with accuracy
• Confident user of MS Office
• Open to new experiences and eager to learn
• Excellent written and spoken English; Norwegian or Swedish language skills are a plus
