The position can be based in Hamburg or Gothenburg.# **What you will do*** Lead a global team (BIFG Medical) with full accountability for developing global strategies and ensuring their successful implementation* Actively support the business through value creation and innovation initiatives, with hands-on involvement in key supplier relationships* Take end-to-end accountability for supply security, cost efficiency, and strategic supplier portfolio management to ensure sustained competitiveness within your area of responsibility* Develop, anchor, and execute supply stream strategies, including identifying and driving key programs to achieve cost-saving targets and defining the optimal supplier base in line with market and business needs* Manage and lead the supply base towards an optimal total cost approach and overall efficiency, enabling long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth* Negotiate strategic agreements such as supply agreements, joint development agreements, and confidentiality agreements# **Who you are**Even if not all of the following points apply to you, we would be happy to get to know you and talk about the possibility of working with you!* University degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as business, economics, or procurement* At least 3+ years of experience in a procurement environment as well as leadership experience* Solid procurement knowledge, including strategic category management, supplier selection and tender processes, and supplier performance management* Ability to collaborate effectively within a complex, global matrix organization and engage with a wide range of stakeholders* Self-starter with a proactive working style and strong communication skill* Confident user of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, especially Excel, experience in SAP and Ariba are a plus* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus# **What we can offer you**The benefits listed refer to the primary location.
