(Senior) Information Security Officer (German)

As a Senior Information Security Analyst at Hawk, you safeguard our platform, data, and operations by strengthening our ISMS and managing security engagements. You will bridge customers, auditors, and internal teams, and support ISO 27001 compliance and security tooling. The role blends deep technical work with clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences. You will shape security posture during pre-sales, customer interactions, and vendor assessments, contributing to trusted fintech partnerships.

• Respond to security questionnaires, RFPs, and due-diligence requests with Sales and Pre-Sales
• Join customer calls to explain Hawk’s security posture and address technical/compliance questions
• Represent Hawk’s security capabilities to regulated financial institutions
• Operate and improve Hawk’s ISMS in line with ISO 27001 controls and processes
• Assist in internal audits, evidence gathering, and risk assessments
• Maintain certification readiness through documentation, processes, and corrective actions
• Provide operational support for core IT & security tools (JumpCloud, MDM, endpoint policies, access workflows)
• Support centralized, secure workstation management across macOS, Windows, and Linux
• Evaluate and manage security-related 3rd party SaaS tools used across the business
• Monitor security posture of corporate tools, infrastructure, and integrations
• Support vendor assessments and due diligence for security-related tools
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and InfoSec to strengthen platform and enterprise security baselines
• Work with Information Security, IT, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Procurement
• Translate complex security topics for technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to internal security awareness, documentation, and operational processes

• 5+ years in Information Security, IT Security, or System Administration in a B2B tech or SaaS environment
• Strong cross-OS competence (macOS, Windows, Linux) with admin-level experience
• Experience with identity and access management tools (e.g., JumpCloud, Okta), MDM, and enterprise security platforms
• Solid understanding of IT security fundamentals (authentication, endpoint security, encryption, networking)
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or ISMS operations; experience supporting audits or certification maintenance
• Basic security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) desirable

• Fluent German and English; strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to diverse audiences
