Senior Integration Consultant – API Management

Optimize system landscapes: As an Integration Consultant for API Management (m/f/d), you help our clients structure complex, distributed systems and thoughtfully connect them via APIs.

Understand requirements: You engage with various stakeholders about required interfaces and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Develop solutions: You analyze requirements, design solution concepts and proofs of concept (PoCs), and support implementation—independently or as part of a team.

Use technologies efficiently: You work with modern API management and integration tools to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Requirements

You have at least 3 years of professional experience and proficiency in Java or another JVM language.

Ideally, you have experience with API management (e.g., Apigee, Istio, Kong, Swagger/OpenAPI) or integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft Anypoint, TIBCO, WSO2, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, Spring Integration).

You possess strong consulting skills, are result-oriented, and show initiative.

You enjoy learning new things and are open to new situations and people.

We work hybrid: Regular in-person interaction is important to us to foster collaboration. Therefore, you are expected to accompany clients on-site during key project phases and meetings.

You like maintaining collegial relationships by being in the office at least every few weeks and participating in our team events.
