As a Senior Manager International Tax , you will help shape the international tax strategy of the Nordex Group and support global business activities in an international environment. Working closely with business functions, local teams, and external advisors, you will contribute to strategic projects, market entries, and tax transformation initiatives. In this role, you will combine technical tax expertise with pragmatic business partnering and a strong focus on governance, compliance, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the Group’s international tax strategy in alignment with business objectives and commercial decisions.
- Act as a trusted business partner, advising internal stakeholders on direct tax, indirect tax, and customs matters.
- Lead tax analyses related to new market entries and major projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Assess cross‑border structures and transactions while considering German tax law and applicable international tax regulations.
- Support local tax functions worldwide in complex tax matters, tax audits, and related compliance requirements.
- Drive tax digitalisation and automation initiatives to improve processes, transparency, efficiency, and governance.
- Further develop the Group’s international tax compliance framework and related processes and standards.
Profile
- Hold a degree in Tax Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Have several years of professional experience in international taxation, ideally gained within a multinational industrial company or a leading tax advisory firm.
- Possess strong expertise in international taxation and can assess tax risks from a Group headquarters perspective.
- Translate complex tax matters into clear, pragmatic, and business‑oriented recommendations.
- Work strategically, in a structured and solution‑oriented manner, while driving improvements with a hands‑on approach.
- Communicate effectively with international and cross‑functional stakeholders and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Be a confident user of MS Office; experience with SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA, is an advantage.
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
