Contextual Overview

KAMAX is seeking a Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel (m/w/d) to join their team in Homberg (Ohm), Germany. The role involves advising departments on corporate legal matters, handling national and international projects, supporting compliance topics, and mitigating legal and economic risks within the automotive industry.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Successfully completed legal studies (juristisches Studium).
• Extremely professional experience in commercial, contract, and compliance law, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Good MS Office skills and very good English language proficiency.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a self-driven, solution-oriented working style.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise departments within the KAMAX Group on all corporate legal matters, especially commercial and product liability law.
• Accompany national and international projects across their lifecycle, particularly in contract drafting and implementation.
• Support the Head of Group Legal & Compliance with overarching compliance tasks and manage assigned compliance responsibilities.
• Gradually take on tasks related to information security, including TISAX contexts.
• Develop and implement measures to reduce legal and economic risks and draft internal guidelines.
