Senior Legal Counsel - Energy

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Senior Legal Counsel based in Germany (Dorsten, Munich, Frankfurt, Leipzig or Hamburg – Hybrid). You’ll provide pragmatic legal support to Aggreko and its group companies, enabling business growth while effectively managing legal risk.

What you’ll do as Senior Legal Counsel:

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including terms & conditions, supply agreements, power purchase agreements and framework agreements
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice on commercial, regulatory and strategic matters across Germany and wider Europe
• Support on real estate matters, disputes and corporate documentation, liaising with treasury and company secretarial teams
• Ensure adherence to contract risk management policies and compliance frameworks
• Build and manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring strong regional expertise and value for money

You are:

• A qualified German lawyer with 8+ years’ post‑qualification experience
• Highly experienced in commercial law and contract negotiation within energy, infrastructure or related sectors
• Fluent in German with business‑level English (additional European languages are a plus)
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to manage workload independently with sound judgement
• Experienced working in project‑based or regulated environments
