C24 Bank GmbH, a German neobank operating within the FinTech space and part of the CHECK24 group, is hiring a (Senior) Legal Counsel for its in-house legal team based in Frankfurt am Main . The role focuses on banking and financial law, regulatory compliance, contract review, and litigation management in a fast-paced, agile digital banking environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 3 years of professional legal experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of banking and financial law and adjacent legal fields
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and represent positions internally and externally
• High degree of integrity, initiative, and adaptability to evolving regulatory developments

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Support the introduction and scaling of new banking and financial products as part of the Legal Team
• Advise business units and management on all legal matters relating to existing and new banking/financial products
• Coordinate closely with product managers, compliance, and data protection teams to align innovation with regulatory requirements
• Independently manage court proceedings and dispute resolution across all instances
• Review contracts and provide legal guidance to relevant business units
