Overview

Senior Manager Employee & Labor Relations (f/m/d) – Munich, Germany. Full‑time, onsite position with Nemetschek Group, a leading global software company in the architecture, engineering, construction, operations and media sectors.

Responsibilities

• Shape and coordinate the partnership with the European Works Council and the new Nemetschek SE Works Council.
• Act as central coordination point for committee work and decision templates, and lead negotiations with employee representative bodies.
• Manage escalations and ensure disputed matters are structured and prepared for C‑level and board decisions.
• Develop works agreements and frameworks, oversee implementation across functions, and establish clear responsibilities, timelines and communication channels.
• Advise management, HR and leaders on co‑determination issues, including classification, design and implementation of measures.
• Ensure compliance with labor law and co‑determination requirements.
• Support co‑determination‑relevant projects such as policies, benefits, working time models, global programs and organisational initiatives.
• Build a future‑oriented Employee & Labor Relations framework with standards, processes, templates and guidelines.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Human Resources or Social Sciences, preferably with a focus on Labor Law or Industrial Relations.
• Extensive professional experience in Employee and Labor Relations in a complex corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of German labour and works constitution law; knowledge of European labour law is a plus.
• Track record of successfully establishing trust‑based partnerships with works councils or employee representatives and of negotiating and drafting works agreements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills at all hierarchy levels.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, implementation‑oriented mindset.
• Full professional fluency in both German and English.
