Role Title: Manager / Sr Manager Employee Relations

Location: Germany (Frankfurt)

Summary of Roles

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead the Employee Relations (ER) function for Continental Europe. The ER Manager will develop a deep understanding of Infosys’s business and collaborate with HR teams, Legal functions and business leaders to drive the Employee Relations function, policies, processes, and interventions in the European region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ER strategy for the specific region.
  • Provide specialist advice on employee relations requirements and procedures to business leaders, HR leaders and senior management.
  • Establish, sustain, and improve ER processes and become process owner for operational metrics.
  • Drive ER processes including separations/terminations, absence management, performance management, workplace grievances, investigations, and creation of required documentation in close coordination with Legal teams.
  • Review employee relations practices and policies involving value violations, grievance redressal, and performance deficiencies, and recommend changes.
  • Guide and enable business partners, HR, leaders, and managers on value adherence, employee grievances, and performance deficiencies.
  • Lead anti‑sexual harassment initiatives and coordinate internal investigations when incidents occur.
  • Work with labor authorities and other stakeholders for statutory compliance involving employee relations functions.
  • Collaborate with unions (if applicable) to support a positive work environment aligned with business strategy.
  • Support central teams with whistleblower investigations as needed.
  • Conduct trend analysis to forecast and prevent incidents.
  • Provide coaching, influencing, and knowledge sharing to increase managers’ abilities to manage their teams.
  • Stay current on employment law, ER practices and trends.
  • Track and interpret employee relation trends and develop training and interventions.
  • Promote the company’s culture and policies.

Knowledge & Skills

  • 10–20 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in Employee Relations functions in Europe.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, ER practices, and process improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with conflict resolution, coaching and influencing.
  • Proactiveness, assertiveness, decisiveness, and resilience.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
