Senior Manager Global Sourcing (m/f/d)

As a strategic procurement leader at IFCO, you will shape global sourcing and category roadmaps for manufactured and asset-intensive products. You will align with ESG and cost objectives, oversee the supplier lifecycle, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive performance and risk management. You’ll influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights and support NPD and mould management to enable sustainable growth. • Develop and drive global sourcing strategies and category roadmaps aligned with cost, risk, scalability and ESG goals across regions
• Own end-to-end supplier lifecycle from market intelligence to onboarding, contracting and ongoing relationship management
• Manage supplier performance and capacity with regional teams to ensure transparency and proactive risk mitigation
• Lead complex global and regional negotiations and secure robust supply agreements with Finance and Legal
• Leverage commodity insights to inform timing, decisions and scenario analyses for leadership
• Support NPD and mould management with early supplier engagement and accountable processes
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance and regional stakeholders as a trusted procurement advisor
• Prepare and present data-driven insights to senior and executive audiences

• Extensive experience in global sourcing, category management or strategic procurement in complex international settings
• Background in sourcing manufactured/asset-intensive products (e.g., injection-m moulded components)
• End-to-end supplier lifecycle ownership experience
• Experience building and operating structured supplier governance models with KPIs, segmentation, reviews and escalation
• Proven negotiations and cost modelling skills with capacity, risk and demand assessment
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, NPD, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance across regions
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong ownership and ability to bring structure to ambiguity
• Fluent English; additional languages (German, Spanish, Italian, French) advantageous
