Senior Manager, Internal Communications

Own the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework across the People and COO organizations
Write and edit clear, engaging content for internal audiences across the internal wiki and other channels
Craft consistent messaging on company updates, initiatives, and achievements
Support leadership on change and reorganization communications
Manage and optimize email, intranet, Slack, and other digital communication channels
Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan
Design and run an employee listening framework across employee groups and key moments at least quarterly
Establish feedback mechanisms and translate employee feedback into action
Build, document, pilot, and iterate a company-wide recognition framework
Integrate recognition into tools and processes such as Slack and Workday
Identify and help launch culture initiatives grounded in company values
Track and report culture awareness and adoption
Design connection frameworks for events and community programming, including remote/distributed hubs
Plan and deliver company events with attendance and satisfaction goals
Analyze and present survey, attendance, engagement, and participation data to drive decisions

Requirements

6+ years of experience across internal communications and employee experience/engagement
Excellent, clear, simple writing
Demonstrated experience designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programs
Experience building or running employee recognition programs
Experience planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, including for distributed/remote teams
Strong ability to analyze and present data accurately and use it to tell a story
Ability to prioritize effectively and lead and execute independently as a senior individual contributor
Experience working cross-collaboratively with employees and executives at all levels
Fluency in best practices across internal communication channels
Understanding of how communications, recognition, culture, and leadership intersect
Experience driving behavior change through communications and program design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in founder-led startup organizations (bonus)
Experience with Notion (bonus)
Fluency with AI tool (bonus)
Google Suite and Notion are listed as technologies used
