Lead on-site deployment, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic systems on rigs and well sites.
Own system reliability and uptime, including preventive and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring, documentation, and spare-parts planning.
Develop SOPs, risk assessments, JSAs, and corrective actions to ensure safe, compliant robotic operations.
Lead and mentor Robotics Technicians and deliver practical technical training for rig crews and service teams.
Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, clients, and internal teams on commissioning, support, upgrades, and warranty topics.
Identify automation improvements, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to CAPEX proposals and digital transformation initiatives.
Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or a related field; an equivalent vocational qualification is also welcome.
At least five years of experience with robotic or automated systems, ideally in oil and gas drilling, including hands-on operation and maintenance.
Leadership experience in a lead, supervisory, or senior technical role with responsibility for technical teams.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, electromechanical systems, SCADA/HMI environments, and industrial communication protocols.
A structured, safety-focused approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate confidently across teams and with customers.
Willingness to travel to operational sites and work in demanding onshore or offshore environments; relevant OEM and safety certifications are an advantage.
Strong English communication skills are essential, and a good command of German would be beneficial.
