Senior Manager Tax & Accounting

An internationally established technology-driven healthcare company with Japanese parent ownership is seeking a Senior Manager Tax & Accounting to strengthen its finance organization in the Greater Frankfurt area.

The company operates in a highly international environment and is a recognized player within the medical technology and healthcare solutions sector across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and support of IFRS reporting/conversion
• Responsibility for tax and accounting matters across the German entity
• Management and further development of the accounting function
• Coordination of intercompany reconciliations and group reporting activities
• Oversight of general ledger, fixed asset and subsidiary accounting
• Coordination with auditors, tax advisors and international stakeholders
• Responsibility for VAT reporting and support of annual tax filings
• Monitoring of payment runs, banking processes and accounting controls
• Support and optimization of accounting and reporting processes
• Participation in finance transformation initiatives including future SAP S/4HANA developments
• Close collaboration with European subsidiaries and international headquarters

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable qualification
• Additional qualification such as Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) preferred
• Several years of experience in accounting/tax within an international mid-sized or corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Experience with SAP FI/CO and strong Excel skills
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and international reporting structures
• Independent, hands‑on and solution‑oriented working style
• Fluent German and English language skills
