Senior Manager Workplace & Office Technology Projects

In this role you will lead the delivery of BCG’s workplace technology stack for office builds, relocations, and upgrades, ensuring IT, AV, and smart workplace solutions are integrated within design and construction. You’ll coordinate with global standards, external design partners, and internal stakeholders to drive on-time, on-budget delivery. You’ll act as the primary workplace technology contact, managing risks, trade-offs, and governance across projects. This role offers continuous learning and opportunities to shape how BCG offices evolve globally.

• Lead IT/AV/smart workplace technology delivery from design to handover for assigned projects
• Build and manage integrated plans (scope, schedule, cost) and monitor milestones and quality
• Identify risks early and implement mitigations; escalate when leadership input is needed
• Guide local teams in selecting solutions from BCG’s global tech stack and ensure design integration
• Coordinate tech requirements across design disciplines using structured stages (e.g., RIBA)
• Translate technical requirements into user-centric outcomes for business stakeholders
• Serve as primary workplace technology contact; maintain relationships with offices, IT, Real Estate, product teams and vendors
• Manage vendor deliverables, track performance, support budget forecasting, and handle change control
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to playbooks, standards, and delivery practices across the portfolio

• 5–7 years of experience leading IT, AV, or smart workplace technology projects in office contexts
• Experience managing complex project workstreams, vendors, timelines, budgets, and dependencies
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to present options to senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of AV, IT networks, access control, workplace tools/analytics, and integration concepts
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred
• Global project exposure advantageous; English required, German desirable
• Willingness to travel internationally (~35%)
