As a Senior Market Development Specialist within the Marketing organization, you will drive the adoption and growth of our Robotic Surgical Technologies (RST) portfolio. RST includes innovative robotic-assisted surgical solutions that support surgeons in performing precise, minimally invasive procedures to improve patient outcomes.
This is a remote position with responsibility for the German market. Your home address will be considered your primary work location (Home Office). The role reports to the Director Marketing & Market Development Germany. Regular travel throughout Germany is required to support customer engagement, marketing activities, and business needs. Occasional travel to a Medtronic office for meetings, workshops, and team collaboration will also be required.

Drive the development and execution of strategic market development initiatives to accelerate the adoption and growth of the Robotic Surgical Technologies (RST) portfolio across Germany.
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive insights to support business growth and inform strategic decision-making.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Clinical, Medical Education, and Marketing stakeholders to design and implement customer engagement and market activation programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital decision‑makers, and key opinion leaders to strengthen Medtronic's position in robotic‑assisted surgery.
Lead strategic projects and initiatives that support commercial excellence, technology adoption, and long‑term business growth.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of experience in market development, strategic marketing, business development, or a comparable commercial role, ideally within the medical device, healthcare, or MedTech industry.
Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into impactful business initiatives.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
Strong project management and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
Willingness to travel regularly within Germany.
