In this role you will lead the M&E commercial function on a high-value data centre project. You will supervise subcontract packages, drive cost control, and ensure contractual compliance. You will collaborate with project, design, and commissioning teams while mentoring junior staff. • Full commercial management of mechanical and electrical work packages
• Procurement and negotiation of major M&E subcontract packages
• Preparation, submission, and agreement of interim valuations
• Management of variations, change control, and final accounts
• Cost forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management for M&E elements
• Ensuring contractual compliance and risk mitigation
• Working closely with project, design, and commissioning teams
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and specialist subcontractors

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in an M&E or building services quantity surveying role
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex M&E packages
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and associated commercial challenges
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts and commercial procedures
• Strong negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in commercial and cost management systems
• Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt (relocation or expat package typically available)
