(Senior) Network Expert (m/f/d) with Focus on SMPTE-2110

Your Tasks

• Planning, designing, and implementing complex network architectures in the broadcasting and media application environment
• Seamless integration and interoperability of the SMPTE-2110 standard, as well as the implementation of PTP (Precision Time Protocol) in networks for media and broadcasting applications
• Independently developing network concepts for tenders
• Consulting with customers in the area of network technologies
• Documenting infrastructure and completed projects
• Analyzing and resolving issues

Your Profile

• A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, network technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in designing, planning, and implementing network solutions, ideally in the media environment
• Advanced expertise in Cisco technologies, particularly Cisco IP Fabric for Media Solutions (IPFM)
• Knowledge of Arista is beneficial
• Strong knowledge of SMPTE-2110 and PTP standards and their application in broadcasting environments
• Experience with typical network protocols and technologies such as VLAN, QoS, Multicast and BGP
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or similar are advantageous
• A high level of self-responsibility, teamwork, and strong communication skills
• Good proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
