Senior NOC Engineer

In this NOC Operations Expert role, you will join Fortinet’s 24/7 global team to optimize network operations for strategic accounts using Fortinet security products. You’ll ensure maximum performance and uptime in mission-critical environments while deploying and fine-tuning solutions. You’ll work closely with customers to understand needs, address security concerns, and drive continuous improvement. This position offers impact in safeguarding assets and shaping operational excellence within a leading cybersecurity provider.

• Deploy, operate and optimize Fortinet security solutions to align with best practices and optimal performance
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and assess data/software/hardware risks
• Build deep knowledge of customers' operations to tailor solutions
• Own service requests and ensure timely delivery within SLAs
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security threats on managed devices
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to restore operations
• Implement defensive strategies for cybersecurity breaches and events
• Produce regular service activity and performance reports
• Develop expertise on Fortinet product lines with focus on FortiGate, FortiManager and LAN Edge devices

• Strong TCP/IP, routing and switching knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on sys admin experience with security products (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, VPN, ZTNA)
• Fortinet product experience is an advantage
• Office-based role 4 days/week with weekend shifts
• Clear communication skills
• Fluent English; local language knowledge is a plus
• Positive, customer-oriented attitude
• Minimum 4 years in a Network Operations Center
• Fortinet certification (FCP-FCSS) is an advantage
